Chupacabra

Chupacabra~
CHUPACABRA
Good afternoon my dear friends & followers, for today's post I am going to bring you into the world of the Chupacabra of Puerto Rico. The first reported attacks occurred in March of 1995 in Puerto Rico. In these attacks, eight sheep were discovered. Their wounds were each with three punctures in the chest area and completely drained of blood. Some of the towns people were believing that it could be some sort of vampire monster that was killing their livestock and it was only a matter of time that it would turn on them. The towns people thought it was over or at least they thought, however, a few months later in August an eyewitness by the name of Madelyne Tolentino reported seeing the creature in the town of Canovanas of Puerto Rican. This is when as many as 150 farm animals and pets were reportedly killed too. The legend of true tale doesn't stop there, in 1975 there were similar killings that continued to happen in the small town of Moca were the creature 'Chupacabra' was now being called El Vampiro de Moca.
Later on with the Scary Creature 'Chupacabra' now being called an Vampiro de Moca and was suspected of being part of a Satanic Cult too! more killings were reported around the island as many farms reported loss of animal life in very strange in creepy ways.
The Chupacabra Demon/Vampire legend
Many have even had a legend draw-up of the creature as very demoniac. Why? It could be the fact that each of the animals were reported to have had its body bled dry through a series of small circular incisions. Which the only expiation the the town could thing of is demon/vampires attacking their livestock. It seems that soon after, there were so many reports in Puerto Rico of  animal deaths that were kill in such an malicious/Vicious way that it was discovered that the same thing was happening in such countries as the Dominican Republic, Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Brazil, Mexico and even the United States too!

Appearance~
The Legend Chupacabra Creature
Well as far as the appearance of these creatures or monstrous it varies from different country. However, I have found a few different descriptions that seem to be the most common of the chupacabra. These could be either legend or as some believe an true monstrous being that lives today in modern times. Some have said that the chupacabra is that of a reptile-like creature, said to have leathery or scaly greenish gray skin and has sharp spines or quills that run all the way down its back. Being approximately three to four in high or [1 to 1.2m] these creatures have quite a history of being a scary monster. They have even said it can hop in a fashion similar to that of a kangaroo.
Could be the true Chupacabra?
Or just a wild dog with a nasty parasite
underneath his skin?
There is another less common legend description of the
chupacabra but in this post I have found that it is actually more common that one might think! It is a strange breed of a wild dog. This wild dog is mostly hairless and has a pronounced spinal ridge on his back. They unusually have a pronounced eye sockets, fangs and large claws. It is said this chupacabra is said to drain all the animal's blood and organs too! Usually through three holes in the shape of an upside-down triangle or through one or two holes that the wild dog makes. Also they are being capture too, like the image that I have for you all here!
Chupacabra Origins~
Chupacabra
So have said that the Chupacabra is a creature that may resemble a living breathing gargoyle that exists in parts of the Latin American Continent. However, the Creature is also reported to have been seen by multiple eye-witnesses in Calaveras County of California too!
It seems that the first time the creature ~Chupacabra~ was sighted was in the early to middle 1990's. In these times the creature was doing about the same thing hurting and harming animals of all kinds of different species. Some have translated the Chupacabra literally from Spanish as the 'Goat-sucker'. Others have said or compare the creature to chotacabras and the nightjar too. It seems that over the years the descriptions of the creature have vary from a legend to something that is actually real! However, no one has produced indisputable evidence of its existence. Although some truly believe they have seen or capture what they think is the creature called the
The Chupacabra
Chupacabra. There are some that believe that the creature Chupacabra legend is just a myth of hysteria however, there has been no explanations of all the attacks since 1990's to modern day times!!! The legend of the El Chupacabras is known in Puerto in about 1992, when eye-witness accounts of famous appearances in the city of Varginha in the state of Minas Gerais, Brazil which is often attributed to the grizzly creature Chupacabra. It also happened when the Puerto Rican  newspapers of El Vocero & El Nuevo Dia in 1992 began reporting the killings of many different types of animals - Birds, Goats, Horses etc. At the time El Vampiro de Moca was known as the first place of the
The Chupacabra
Chupacabra in a small town of Moca in 1992.  At first it was thought the killing were done by an satanic cult in the small town of Moca in 1992. However, the  killings began to spread around the island of the small town onto many of the farms that reported loss of animal life. At the  time, even in those early days of the 1990's the killings had one pattern in common as they do today 2015. Each of the dead animals had two punctured holes around their necks and drained of blood.

Chupacabra extra-terrestrial being?
or the 'Mosquito-Man' in the South
American Rain Forest Natives
believed in the chupacabra that
sucked blood through his long nose
At the time in 1990's some have said seeing a small dark green figure around the areas of these killing, some in fact thought it to be extra-terrestrial. Soon after that the killings of animals began in many other countries. Some have said the Chupacabra could be cause by a disease? Neither these theory's that it is or not an extraterrestrial has been proven or cause by a disease. There were also Native Indian's that lived in the Southern parts of the Rain Forest that Believed in a creature called the 'Mosquito-Man'. It was a mythical creature of their folklore that predates to modern chupacabra sightings. It is said that the 'Mosquito-Man' sucks the blood from animals through his long nose like a huge mosquito. And he is said to be one and the same to the Chupacabra! What do you think?
coyote with terrible
mite disease
Well now were in the present of July of 2004, where there folks are seeing and thinking that they are actually catching the creature Chupacabra. Like that of a rancher in San Antonio, Texas, who killed a hairless dog-like creature that was attacking his livestock. It happened again in October of 2004.
Coyote with terrible
Mite disease
As to what they look like and most common is; A lizard-like being with leathery/scaly greenish-gray skin and sharp spines or quills running down its back. It will stand about 3-5 feet high and hops in a similar fashion as a kangaroo. They can hop up to 20 feet in one sighting. There is first variety that is more dog or panther-like with it's face and nose, a forked tongue protruding from it, large fangs and it is said to hiss and screech when it feels its in harms way. It also has a sulfuric stench that it leaves behind. The second type also stands and hops as the kangaroo and has very coarse fur with grayish  facial hair all over its body. The head is similar to an dog, coyote or wolf, and its mouth has large sharp teeth.
The third form  is simply that of a strange breed of wild dog that is mostly if not all hairless, with very leathery skin, has a pronounced spinal back ridge, his eye sockets are unusually pronounced and dark black, teeth and claws are very long and sharp. However he is a typical canine dog.
Coyote with terrible skin mite
 'Sarcoptes'
scabiei
There is many theory's to why the result of the dog reasons to getting this way. Some have thought it was inbreeding of different wild dogs and other theory's however, I have a more
interesting theory that I discovered by an evolutionary biologist Barry O'Connor. He says that the animals that have been found and thought to be Chupacabra's are just either wild dogs, or coyotes that are infected with a terrible skin mite which is often found on dogs and humans ~ called Sarcoptes scabiei. Some have said the Mythology creature and all those sighting of the Chupacabra of sucking the blood of all those goats and farm animals could have been nothing more than a very sick coyote or wild dog? as many have suspected. however, there are those that can't explain the draining of the blood part over the centuries of this phantom terror.
I did find that if not treated these coyotes or dogs can be quite ugly and terrifying.
Canine skin infected with the burrowing mites
O'Connor had told that the supposed chupacabra or at least some of them are actually of coyotes or dogs with sarcoptic mange infections. It is said that the animals lose their hair when the mites burrow into their skin and it can be quite painful. The canines skin becomes quite thick from the mites burrowing into their skin. Also their faces will swell and their teeth will become more prominent looking too..
But there was a problem with the theory even though it was probably true, there was no way of explaining the vampire holes in the necks in the livestock and the lost of blood in all the mostly goats and sometimes organs too.
Great Video

I hope that it will explain more about
the interesting creature.
